On Animals, written by Susan Orlean interestingly takes place exploring the wonders of different backyards and homes of animals. Some homes have chickens and cows and other things you eat, and others have tigers and whales. The knowledge that Orlean shares with readers is remarkable while also keeping it interesting and engaging.

For being non-fiction, I loved the book, and I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. I would highly recommend reading this if you love animals or are interested in learning more about them because, while being very educational, it was also very entertaining. On Animals was very good for being nonfiction!
